I’ve recently been reading Herbert Marcuse’s One Dimensional Man. Heady, as my first introduction to postmodern critique, but to say the least I am incredibly intrigued and it has served as an enlightening if troublesome first bite. M. Ward’s and Neko Case’s newest albums have been emanating very lovingly from my speakers. And I just watched and enjoyed The Proposition…
Anyone have thoughts on any of these that they’d like to share?
